I went to the midnight showing last night at my local theater and all I can say about New Moon is wow.

*SPOILERS!!*
First of all, I was very happy that they started the movie off with Bella’s dream, as the book starts off. I think that was an important part to the story. The acting in the movie wasn’t as bad overall, but Taylor Lautner still overpowered everybody. The Cullens looked great (as always) and the birthday was was nice. The whole “throwing Bella into glass and pushing Jasper away” thing was a little overdone but I will take it.

The part where Edward left Bella in the forest was made well. For once you could actually “feel” Edward’s pain. Bella’s however, was still lost in her terrible acting. After the three months, she was less zombie-like then she should of been, but whatever, I’m not gonna be nit picky.

The scene when Bella and Jessica go out to Port Angeles, was very funny. Anna Kendrick is such a great actress! She made me laugh and smile when she was babbling on and on. One thing made me VERY mad in that scene though. In the book, Bella walks up to the bar to the dangerous guys, and then walks always and says, “Sorry, I thought I recognized you.” That is the first time she hears Edward’s voice. In the movie, she walked up to the guy, and went for a ride on his motorcycle!!!!!!! WHAT THE HECK?!?!?! That made me seriously mad, because Bella wouldn’t do that.

Oh my gosh, I just saw Kristen’s last interview before she goes on vacation, and it was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. She ended up talking about her recent meeting with Martha Stewart. She wanted to ask about pies, since Kristen is cooking them for Thanksgiving. Martha ended up semi blowing her off and says blatantly. “I had a dream about Robert Pattinson.” Apparently she had a dream where they were “hanging out” and he was very “down to earth.” Kristen joked maybe she could hook them up. OK I just recieved, New Moon’s first critic review. This is what Ty Burr had to say about New Moon! :

Sorry, girls: The thrill is gone.

“The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” the second installment in Hollywood’s adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s mega-selling vampire romance series, is an anemic comedown after the full-blooded swoon of last year’s “Twilight.” Where the first film’s director, Catherine Hardwicke, plugged into Meyer’s vision of supernatural teenage lust with abandon, Chris Weitz is stuck with a sequel that’s a morning-after mope-fest.

The new movie has two things going for it: a relaxed and likeable Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black, the newly buff Native American kid with a hairy secret and a crush on Bella (Kristen Stewart), and a wicked sense of humor about the story’s sexual subtext that doesn’t surface often enough.

In most other respects, the movie’s a drag – paced like a dirge and cursed with dialogue and a goopy musical score (Alexandre Desplat, how could you?) that bring out the book’s worst daytime soap tendencies. But what can you expect from an installment that keeps the central duo of human Bella and vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) apart for an extended 500-page sulk? Even my impromptu focus group (two adolescent daughters and one friend) voted “New Moon” the least involving of the four books.

According to US News, Miley Cyrus says she doesn’t like Twilight.  She told the media she is not Team Edward or Team Jacob, she hates it all. Miley said:

“I don’t believe in it,” she says. “I don’t like vampires. … I don’t like the wolf that pops out of the screen when I’m watching my TV at night. I don’t like it. I don’t want anything to do with it. I don’t like the shirts. I don’t like any of it.”

First off, that sounds like a bad Dr Suess book. Second of all, it just surprises me. She is a famous movie star TEEN. I mean, she could easily meet the entire cast and Stephenie Meyer. I’m sure that if she actually read it, she would like it. But Miley is too stuck up I guess.

Most didn’t but the ones that did got pictures of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner. Many also got autographs! Were you one of the lucky few?!?!

Hey guys someone emailed me and asked for pictures of the Volturi, from Torrid. Well, I went in Torrid and started taking pictures, I was surprised when three employees yelled at me saying pictures are not allowed to be taken in the store. They made me sit there and delete my pictures!

After that I was just like stunned and determined to get pictures. So I went into Hot Topic. I know they are owned by the same people, but I know someone that works there, I thought I might have a chance. When I went in there, the employees didn’t react at all to me holding a camera. A took a picture and they totally didn’t care! When I was finished, I asked my employee “friend” if it was ok. Her exact words were, “Yeah, I don’t freakin’ care!” It was so cool. So after wards I took some more pics of their entire display. Here they are!
